Greenhaven / Pocket Area

There are lots of Christmas and holiday lights and decorations throughout the Pocket. Here’s a photo of one place on Little River Way. It really needs to be seen in person though, as the lights are set to music.

Fall Colors in the Pocket

Today at Garcia Bend…

This photo is from early yesterday evening. As you can see, they water level in the canals has been brought down from where we normally see it. The water level is up by some inches this afternoon, but is still quite noticeably low compared to normal.

Taken today during the first anniversary celebration at the Robbie Waters Pocket-Greenhaven Library…

I’ve noticed that many parks have been recently mowed. Hopefully a sign of increased maintenance.
