Saturday, April 21st starting at 9am join Councilmember Darrell Fong and Parks Commissioner Araceli Mercado for a Canal Clean up day. If you are interested in attending, please contact Araceli at (916) 600-8466 or aramercado4@gmail.com. The weather forecast for this Saturday is 87 degrees and sunny. Make sure to bring your hat and sunscreen. Our City Park's Department will provide tools and equipment for the clean up.

Join Councilmember Darrell Fong, City Manager John Shirey, and the City of Sacramento's Department of Solid Waste for Town Hall Meeting, Thursday, April 19th at the John F. Kennedy Auditorium, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.

The Sacramento Solid Waste and Recycling Division is proposing to alter and add to its services to be more responsive to the needs of Sacramento residents, improve the environment, and create cleaner streets. We would like to hear from you about the proposed changes.
