Garcia Bend has some nice little beaches that are whole lot more inviting when people haven’t left their trash behind. Please take your trash with you when you leave them or any part of the park or parkway. There are trash and recycle containers available in the main part of the park.
Save the date Saturday, Aug. 28th for the Robbie Waters Pocket-Greenhaven Library grand opening celebration from 9:30am to 2pm (dedication 10am).
The Forums are now open for Event Announcements and General Discussion. Anyone can read the forums, but you must register to post there.
I have started moving this site over to new software. During the transition period some of the pages from the old site will also be used. The photo at right is from the start of the Pocket 4th of July Parade on July 3rd. I’ll post more parade photos once I have more of the new site completed. Use the links at the upper right for accessing prior pages including the photo gallery as well as the new forums which should be open quite soon.
