As you may have noticed, the other phase of the city’s replacement of the Ornamental Pear trees in the center island of Pocket Road is underway.

Here’s a look at some of the new Emerald Sunshine Elms planted by the city in the center island of Pocket Road to replace the Ornamental Pear trees that were there.
The meeting is Monday, Nov. 5th from 6:30-8:30pm in the J.F.K. High auditorium. Topics are planned to include: what type of items should be in an emergency kit, the types of natural disasters that are likely in this area, and where to go if a disaster occurs.
